Deborah E. Ransom is an associate, focusing her practice on corporate, mergers and acquisitions, and tax matters.

Deborah received her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center where she served as the Publications Editor of the Houston Journal of International Law. She was also an active member of the Latinx Law Students Association as Social Chair and Membership Chair. 

Prior to law school, Deborah worked in Mexico City as a contracts manager for Amazon Mexico. She received a fellowship from the French and U.S. governments to teach English abroad in France. Deborah graduated from Wellesley College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French. 

Away from the Office

Deborah enjoys learning new languages, traveling, cooking, and discovering Houston’s rich, diverse food scene. She has two cats and likes to keep active with Pilates, tennis, and hot yoga.
