He advises general counsel and business leaders in the energy industry and represents energy and non-energy clients in restrictive covenant and unfair employment practices lawsuits. He tries cases in state and federal courts and before administrative bodies. He has been named to the Texas Rising Stars list every year since 2017 and is also included in this year's "Top 100 Texas Rising Stars" list.
Kiara Gradney represents clients in various areas, including civil litigation matters, oil and gas, real estate, personal injury, construction and parallel proceedings. This is her second year being named to the Texas Rising Stars list.
John Kane has been recognized on the Texas Rising Stars list for 10 consecutive years. He practices in the Firm’s Chamber’s-rated Bankruptcy Section and has considerable experience representing clients in all facets of bankruptcy and distressed assets cases, including secured and unsecured creditors, bankruptcy trustees, creditors’ committees, corporate debtors, and parties interested in purchasing claims and distressed assets.
Andrew “Drew” Robertson is a commercial litigator serving clients from diverse industries nationwide in state and federal courts. In addition to litigation, he also has a growing appellate practice. Drew has handled more than a dozen civil appeals before many of Texas’s intermediate courts of appeals, the Supreme Court of Texas, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Kyle Woodard also practices in the Firm's Chamber-rated Bankruptcy section and counsels clients in bankruptcy law and related litigation, including secured and unsecured creditors, bankruptcy trustees, and creditors' committees. These attorneys demonstrate the wide-ranging legal services Kane Russell Coleman Logan provides, including litigation and bankruptcy law.
Each year, Super Lawyers recognizes only 2.5% of Texas attorneys who either are 40 years of age or younger or have been in practice for 10 years or less as “Rising Stars.” To be selected for inclusion, candidates are evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, including experience, results for their clients, representative clients, honors and awards, special licenses and certifications, their position with the law firm, bar and professional activity, pro bono and community service, scholarly lectures and writings, and their education and employment background. After the patented selection process is complete, results are validated by a third-party organization, resulting in a credible, comprehensive, and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys.
