Kane Russell Coleman Logan Bolsters Bankruptcy Practice with addition of William Hotze
William Hotze has joined Kane Russell Coleman Logan PC’s (KRCL’s) Bankruptcy, Insolvency, and Creditors’ Rights practice as a Senior Attorney.

He is an intelligent and effective lawyer, and strengthens our national practice,” said John Kane, a Director at KRCL and head of the firm’s practice. “Will is an accomplished attorney who provides the kind of client service and counsel on which our firm has built its reputation. Hotze’s practice focuses on a variety of bankruptcy and restructuring matters, including representation of debtors, official committees of unsecured creditors, bankruptcy trustees, creditors, and distressed asset buyers, both in court and out of court. He also has extensive experience in bankruptcy-related litigation and appeals, including prosecuting and defending fraudulent transfers, preferences, and other bankruptcy-related issues.
Hotze received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and his law degree from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. While in law school, he was editor of the Science and Technology Law Review and externed for the Hon. G. C. Jernigan in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas. Hotze was named a Texas Rising Star by Thomson Reuters in 2023.
