Kane Russell Coleman Logan Practice Groups Ranked in 2019 Edition of U.S. News – Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms”
Texas-based law firm Kane Russell Coleman Logan announced today that eight of the firm’s practice areas have been ranked in the just-released 2019 edition of U.S. News – Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms.” The firm was recognized in both National and Metropolitan rankings, reflecting the diverse legal skills and committed service that the firm’s attorneys offer clients.
“It is an honor for our firm to be recognized again by U.S. News and World Report and Best Lawyers,” said Joe Coleman, Managing Partner of the firm. “Our results and the valued long-term relationships we have developed with clients are our primary indicator of success, but attaining these distinctions validates our mission.”
The firm earned a National ranking for its work in Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights / Insolvency and Reorganization Law. The firm’s bankruptcy practice, led by Joe Coleman and John Kane, is well-known for its national practice – continuing to be retained for unique and sophisticated engagements more commonly associated with Big Law. For example, KRCL's bankruptcy practice has represented 40 Creditor's Committees in 18 states.
In addition to the firm’s national recognition, three practice areas also earned a Metropolitan Tier 1 ranking for Dallas/Fort Worth, including:
- Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights / Insolvency and Reorganization Law
- Commercial Litigation
- Litigation-Bankruptcy
Two practice areas in the firm’s Dallas office have been awarded Metropolitan Tier 2 rankings:
- Insurance Law
- Real Estate Law
One practice in the firm’s Dallas office and two in the firm’s Houston office were awarded Metropolitan Tier 3 rankings:
- Corporate Law (Dallas)
- Immigration Law (Houston)
- Litigation - Labor & Employment (Houston)
Considered to be one of the most prestigious recognitions a law firm can earn, the U.S. News – Best Lawyers ® “Best Law Firms” rankings signal a unique combination of quality law practice and breadth of legal knowledge. In order to be considered, firms must have at least one lawyer who has been recognized in the previous edition of Best Lawyers in a practice area and metro area currently ranked by “Best Law Firms.” Nominees are selected based on a rigorous evaluation process that includes the collection of client and lawyer evaluations, peer review from leading attorneys, and review of additional information provided by law firms as part of the formal submission process.
