Kane Russell Coleman Logan to Partner with The Birthday Party Project and Big Brothers Big Sisters

After nearly 10 months of research, diligence, and interviews, Kane Russell Coleman Logan is proud to announce that the law firm has partnered with The Birthday Party Project and Big Brothers Big Sisters in Dallas and Houston for 2018.  The organizations were selected by the firm’s Project Make a Difference Committee, which was created in response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey.  The Committee has since expanded its reach to aid a variety of worthy causes that impact the larger communities of Houston and Dallas.

“Our Committee is very excited to announce our new charity and service partners.  The Birthday Party Project and Big Brothers Big Sisters are such worthwhile local causes.  With our firm’s commitment to serving these groups, we hope to make a very real difference in our communities,” said John Kane, a director of the firm and chair of the Project Make a Difference Committee.

The Birthday Party Project aims to “bring joy to homeless children” by hosting monthly birthday parties at homeless and transitional living facilities across the country.  Since its inception in 2012, the organization has hosted 6,000 birthday parties with 38,000 children in attendance.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is a mentoring program that pairs adult volunteers with 6 to 18-year-olds in an effort to help the children “realize their potential and build their futures.”  Founded in 1904, the historic non-profit is one of the oldest and largest youth mentoring organizations in the United States and provides one-on-one relationships to children in communities across the country.
